Kelly Osbourne is looking trim after her 85 pound weight loss, and fans are taking notice to a new string of family photos.

Travel Channel posted the images of Kelly and the entire Osbourne family to promote The Osbournes: Night of Terror, a television special depicting their first ghost hunt. The eldest Osbourne child stands pristine amid the familial backdrop, sporting purple buns and a sleek black outfit. Sharon, Jack and Ozzy fill the remaining space wearing smiles. Youll notice the Prince of Darkness smile is wrought with a hint of mischief.

Another picture shows Kelly and her younger brother sitting on posh furniture amid a shower of daylight.

Since receiving gastric bypass surgery in 2018, the 35-year-old has been shedding the pounds and sharing her progress. "Today I'm feeling #Gucci," the star captioned along with a slick pic of her bright red dress.

Speaking with the Hollywood Raw with Dax Hold and Adam Glyn podcast, she said losing weight was a physical and mental journey. "This has been two years of me working on this.Figuring out if I wanted to be in this industry, figuring out if I was even capable of even losing this weight, she said.

"I did, and I figured out I wanted to keep going. I didnt do this for anyone."

Kellys father has been striving to improve his own physical health. The 71-year-old is still recovering from many physical maladies including a staph infection on his hand, pneumonia, a re-aggravated 2003 ATV accident and a recently revealed Parkinsons diagnosis.

But he recently announced his No More Tours II run will take place in 2022. Sharon told Planet Rock Radio she believes a two-year window will allow for venues to fully, and safely, reopen to the public amid COVID-19 and allow Ozzy to fully heal.

DEAR HARRIETTE: My boyfriend and I live together. He doesn't like to party or go out, but I do. I like to be with my girlfriends and have fun. All of my girlfriends are in relationships, too. Anytime I tell him that my girls want to go away on a trip, he tells me to go enjoy myself. When the day gets closer, he starts to tell me he doesn't want me to go because he doesn't know what my friends and I will be doing and he's not comfortable with it. I know if I still go, he will just constantly call and text me and I won't enjoy myself.

At times, I feel trapped. I don't want to spend my life knowing there will never be an overnight trip I can take without him. I want him to be able to trust me, but he makes me feel like he doesn't. Is this a trust issue or something deeper? -- Don't Want To Get Trapped

DEAR DON'T WANT TO GET TRAPPED: Since all of your girlfriends are in relationships as well, could you plan a couples trip? Perhaps if your boyfriend experiences being with the whole group, he may relax when you are just with the girls. That's worth a try.

Outside of that, you may want to reconsider if this is the partner for you. If you and your girlfriends are truly just enjoying spending girl time together and he cannot accept that, he may be too controlling for your taste. My name is Jeanette Abarca (@thick.spice), and I'm 29. I am from El Monte, California, and Im a stay-at-home mom. After the death of my mother and a tough pregnancy, I decided to start taking care of my health by practicing intermittent fasting, counting calories, Hip Hop Abs workouts at home, and running.

I lost my mom to breast cancer on January 30, 2016. I was extremely depressed, and when I became pregnant three months later, it was a struggle. I almost had a miscarriage at 13 weeks, and I went into preterm labor at 28 weeks, so I was on bed rest until I gave birth at 37 weeks. After giving birth, I was still dealing with depression and I missed my mom a lot.

I turned to food for comfort. I would eat a family pack of Oreos in two nights by myself. At my heaviest, I weighed 302 pounds. I had gained so much weight that I knew I needed to make a change. I thought of my mom and what would she think of me. That's when I decided to start my journey, on January 1, 2018.

By doing this, I could eat what I wanted. But tracking my intake motivated me to make healthy choices and stick to my calorie goals. I would also fast from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m.

Now, I am still counting calories, but I fast from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. I also started tracking my macros. On Sunday nights I meal prep for the week, which makes things so much easier.

I did a lot of walking and dance classes, like Zumba and Hip Hop Abs. I didn't join a gym until I lost my first 20 pounds.

Now, I wake up and do virtual training on Facebook Live at 6 a.m. during the week. I also started running. I try to run 10 miles a week (if not more). My goal is to run 500 miles by the end of the year, and I have 357 miles down since June.

Intermittent fasting is quite a fad these days. From celebrities to silicon valley CEOs - everyone is trying their luck with intermittent fasting.

What does it mean?

You fast for anything between 12 to 18 hours a day, and eat only in the remaining window. Intermittent fasting is being pitted as the elixir for a long lifespan.

A new study has found that intermittent fasting does not even help you lose weight to begin with.

From Instagram influencers to actors Hugh Jackman and Jennifer Aniston, everyone is a fan. As the name suggests intermittent fasting is about eating in intervals. For example, you eat for 8 hours a day and fast for the remaining 16.

In return, you are promised weight loss, a healthy heart, lower insulin resistance, reduction of inflammation, and a longer lifespan.

What makes intermittent fasting a hit is the fact that in the 8 hours of eating, you are allowed to eat anything.

A lot of people are taking up this challenge.There are apps helping people monitor their fast. In 2019, intermittent fasting was the top-trending diet search on Google.

However, a study has found that intermittent fasting does not help you lose weight. Led by a cardiologist from the University of California, San Francisco, he and his team recruited 116 people who were either overweight or obese, and divided them into 2 groups.

One ate at random times within a strict 8-hour window, and the other group ate at normal meal times. The group that was intermittent fasting lost an average of 2 pounds over 12 weeks. The group that was not intermittent fasting lost 1.5 pounds.

Researchers said this difference was not statistically significant.

To top that, some of the people who were fasting lost more muscle mass. A 2018 study found no significant difference between intermittent fasting for 50 weeks and following traditional diet with restricted calories.

A cardiologist who studied intermittent fasting experimented with it for 7 years.

But there are others who have lost weight. The list includes Chris Pratt, Kourtney Kardashian, Vanessa Hudgens and Scarlett Johansson.

People began adapting intermittent fasting after several studies showed results on mice. If mice lost weight, could humans be far behind?

Working out can sometimes feel like, well, hard work. Thats why its always refreshing to discover a more fun way of keeping fit.

Kelly Osbourne has shed six stone on a vegan diet and with the help of gastric sleeve surgery in 2018. However shes also been known to keep in touch with her inner child and indulge in some good old-fashioned hula hooping.

The 35 year old reality star, who recently shopped for children's clothes after struggling to find clothes that fit her following her weight loss wrote about her weight struggles in her 2017 memoir, describing herself as having 'a little dumpling body'.

She also said she was put off going to the gym because of all the thinner people she knew shed encounter.

Which is perhaps why shes been known to take up hula hooping in particular a weighted Hoopnotica hula hoop to help her sustain weight loss.

I have a Hoopnotica hula hoop, Kelly previously said. I use it every day. Its made my back and arms stronger, and my waist has gone down two inches. On Saturday nights my friends and I put on ridiculous outfits and hula-hoop and dance when everyone else is at da club."

The brand was founded by Gabriella Redding, who claims that she lost 50 pounds in one year through hula hooping.

It's been reported that Michelle Obama, Kelly Brook and Beyonc are all fans of a hula hoop workout. According to the American Council on Exercise, a personal training provider, you can burn seven calories a minute while hooping. It also helps to improve posture, boost circulation, and strengthen core muscles.

Whats more its a great activity to take up if youre stuck at home you can do it in front of the TV, making it a perfect pandemic work-out.

Personal Trainer Chris Hall, founder of Hall Personal Training even reveals that research suggests that hula hooping for 15 minutes a day, four to five days a week for six weeks can help you to lose up to 4cm of your waist.

Chris adds, It gives you a total body workout too, putting your calves and your core through their paces, as well as shoulders, forearms and biceps. If you vary your routine by doing two rotations to every skip or jumping from leg to leg it will keep things more challenging.

At the beginning of a workout skipping can help raise your heart rate, while at the end of a workout it can be used to burn off stubborn fat, explains Chris.

The lowdown: Kim Kardashian knows why a rollerblading revival is long overdue as does trainer Chris. He says: This will really work the inside and outside muscles of your thighs. Your upper body will move in a similar way to when using a Megaboard. This means youll be getting some rotation into your abs which will work the obliques on the sides of your stomach, says Chris. Plus youll need a really strong core to stay upright. Doing 15 minutes will burn 180-190 calories.

The lowdown: Trampolining is not only fantastic fun, its great exercise. Its probably why Beyonc is a devotee.

Chris says that 15 minutes can burn around 60 calories and to really get the most of your workout he says to wear a weight. A weighted belt can make trampolining more intense and will get your heart rate up quicker, he says.

Youll be using your quads and abdominals. Plus theres an added bonus for all you Louboutin lovers trampolining especially if youre using a mini one can also be great for women who wear high heels as it helps to strengthen your ankle muscles.

New fast track scans to diagnose lung cancer to be trialled by Southern Trust – Armagh i

The Southern Trust has launched a new trial to help speed up lung cancer diagnosis.

Lung Cancer is one of the most common and serious cancers. As there are usually no obvious early signs or symptoms, most patients are diagnosed at a more advanced stage and it is sadly the most common cause of cancer death worldwide.

Usually patients with suspected symptoms are referred by their GP for a chest x-ray before seeing a Respiratory Consultant who would arrange a scan.

Now GPs can directly refer patients to the Radiology Department Daisy Hill or South Tyrone hospital where the new CT scanners can provide a specialised low dose CT scan, which is proven to have a high sensitivity to lung cancer, even in the early stages.

The Trust is the first in Northern Ireland to introduce this new fast track system which will be trialled for six months.

Dr Liam Polley, Consultant Respiratory Physician for the Southern Trust explained: Lung cancer is the third most common cancer in the UK.

As most patients are diagnosed at a later stage, sadly, compared to other cancers, survival outcomes are much lower.

We are continually trying to improve diagnosis and treatments and are delighted to team up with GP colleagues to explore how we can offer better outcomes for lung cancer patients. As earlier diagnosis is so vital, we hope that by fast tracking our process, we can begin treatment more promptly for those patients with confirmed lung cancer and of course quickly reassure those with a negative result.

Dr Rose McCullagh, Associate Medical Director for Primary Care added: It is so important, particularly if you are aged over 40, to be aware of any new unexplained symptoms and seek expert advice if you notice anything that is not normal for you. Please dont hesitate to telephone your GP practice and from there an appropriate plan for your care can be arranged.

GPs can now refer patients aged over 40yrs of age who have symptoms which may indicate earlier signs of lung cancer including:

Unexplained persistent cough for more than 3 weeks Fatigue Shortness of breath Chest pain

For smokers this may also include

Weight loss Appetite loss Persistent or recurrent chest infection

Detailed information on how to refer patients has been sent directly to GPs.

This project is supported by Integrated Care Partnerships to promote a co-ordinated approach across all health and social care sectors.
