We saw a lot of fights and disagreements between the reality star, Danielle Jbali, and her now ex-husband. She met her ex-husband, Mohamed Jbali, in an online chat room. They had what seemed to be a connection and quickly got engaged. They both realized things about themselves on the show. She realized that Mohamed didn't have a job, and Mohamed found out that she was using someone's card fraudulently. They ignored all the red flags and went ahead with the wedding.
Mohamed eventually got his K-1 visa.
However, their marriage was a long way from happily ever after. "Mohamed peaced out right after the show ended and moved to Miami", Cosmopolitan reported earlier this year. Danielle was sad and angry, so she filed for an annulment in hopes that he would be deported back to his country but, sadly, that did not work out. They divorced and went their separate ways.
During the show, Beth Maher, Danielle's close friend, was always in support of her and was there to back her up and give advice.
Now that the show is over, Danielle is focused on herself.
Danielle shared on Instagram, that she had lost 15 pounds since beginning her weight loss journey. Fans are very happy for her and are giving their full support to her in the comments. She told them that she had been watching what she ate and walking more. It becomes rather obvious when you look at recent photos of her on her Instagram.
Danielle later shared with the public that the secret to feeling beautiful was not about weight loss but surrounding yourself with the right people.

She spends a lot of time with her special grandchildren. She explained that what makes her feel beautiful is being with the right partner and surrounding herself with people that love her because the bad does not last forever.
Danielle often then shares on social photos of herself in beautiful dresses. She shares positivity through her photos. It looks like she has moved passed her ex-husband, Mohamed.
Danielle also revealed at one stage since the show ended that she had been seeing someone new, and she knew him while she and Mohamed were on the show. He was there for her when Mohamed left.
Sadly, people are saying negative things about the '90 Day Fiance' alum. Danielle shared a private message with a caption saying that the public only sees a fraction of her life. The messages were filled with unnecessary hate with one of the commenters saying she "should kill herself". That probably explains the post below where she mentioned that it's not okay to try and destroy people's lives.
Danielle Jbali sent a message to her haters, explaining that everyone has their struggles but, the difference is that hers is public.
Jbali says she doesn't have anyone to lean on in times of struggles except for one friend and her children. She is focused on loving herself and working on her goals right now. Fans hope one day they'll see Danielle again on one of the spin-offs of the TLC show.

And they signed me on my second day here I wouldnt ever want to compete with what I call the glamours the really gorgeous people.
Im about the brain, the heart and whats on the inside. I feel really lucky to be the body type I am.

In a recent video posted online, Rebel shared a post of her working out in the gym.
In the full body workout, Rebel did weight exercises, squats and lunges before finishing off with ab exercises.

I have since stopped reaching for my phone each time the tone for incoming message goes off because I know that it is probably a bank trying to get me to take a loan I cant afford, or my SACCO selling me a holiday on credit when it is not trying to convince me to take a dividend advance.
Just the other day, a facility I had never heard of sent me a text saying that they could advance me Sh50,000 if I deposited my log book with them. As if.
It has been a particularly difficult year for Kenyans moneywise, and lending facilities, including the dubious ones, are falling over themselves keen to entice Kenyans that want to enjoy what remains of the year but have no means to do so.
I am, however, determined not to fall for the ruse since I promised myself to live within my means this year; also, the last thing I would want is start a New Year paying for a water dispenser that would make more sense in a hospital than in my kitchen, or a juicer that I will never use.
But it is not just the money lenders on a shopping spree, there are enterprising Kenyans selling weight loss. Before Christmas, mind you.
We can help you lose more than 20 kilos and have a flat tummy by Christmas. Seeing is believing, read the unsolicited SMS, which went on to direct me to a website where I could find out how to achieve this miracle.
Though it sounded dubious, I had to agree that the ad was ingenious. Weight loss is big business because there is always a woman somewhere seated fantasising about losing weight. Fast.
And if the extra kilos went before Christmas, then even better because she gets to wear a swimsuit with pride or skinny jeans without the danger of restricting blood flow.
Whenever my friends-of-a-certain-age get together nowadays, we always end up talking about weight and reminiscing about our younger years when we could eat a horse each, daily, and not put on even an ounce of weight.
Nowadays, even the smell of food makes us fatter. So yes, weight loss is big business.
I have, however, read and written enough about weight to understand that there are no shortcuts if youre looking for permanent weight loss, therefore I wasnt drawn in by the SMS.
But I was curious, so I clicked on the link. Turned out that the remedy is a Sh299 manual listing spices, herbs, plants and liquids you can mix right in your own kitchen.
The mixture, the write up claimed, can burn belly fat, increase metabolism, stabilise blood sugar levels, balance your fat hormones, boost your thyroid, get rid of small tumours and decaying cells in your body, and generally loose (their spelling, not mine) up to five kilos in a month.
Oh well, so much for losing 20 kilos in a month.
Allow me to offer my unsolicited advice no matter how good the offer sounds, resist the temptation to spend.
Theres something about Christmas that prods us to spend thoughtlessly, maybe it is the cheesy adverts, or the sparkling lights and cheery beats played in supermarkets and malls this time of year; whatever it is, resist it.
I especially suggest that you avoid the food samples food manufacturers offer in supermarkets because they are what encourage impulse buying.
Take it from me, this is not the time to develop a taste for cheese; if you dont take it, resist it because it will only leave you poorer.
The same goes for the many discount offers on clothes, because chances are that they are not discounted, in spite of what they claim.
Resist, ladies and gentlemen, you will thank me in January 2020.

Herbal columnist Nicola Parker writes about avoiding over doing it on the sugar this Christmas.
December is well known for being a month of overindulgence. I cant buy a pint of milk without walking past a line of chocolates, decorated with festive pictures.
Ive swapped out my bedtime tea for hot chocolate and my weekend warmer is now a mug of mulled wine.
I recently navigating myself towards the biscuit aisle in the supermarket, craving something sweet for after dinner.
Thats when I realised, the sugar monster had struck.
Eating sugar, triggers sugar cravings.
Its a frustrating cycle that is surprisingly quick to break, though those first few days can be really tough.
Due to the health risks of a high sugar diet, its worth pushing through.
Over consumption of sugar can lead to increased risk of weight gain and diabetes, both of which can contribute to heart problems, joint pain and overall ill health.
Eating sugar can also leave us feeling lethargic, making us less likely to stay active and more likely to crave sweet foods.
Eating sugar when you are tired is a bit like adding newspaper to a fire as fuel.
Your energy will surge initially, but that burst will be short lived and youll soon need to add more.
If, like me, you dont want to let the sugar monster win, then its important to find sources of fuel that will burn for longer, sustaining your energy throughout the day.
Foods that are high in protein and fibre help stabilise our blood sugar, supporting our energy.
Protein rich lunches and breakfasts include eggs, beans, meat, nuts and fish.
Simply adding some sugar free peanut butter to your morning toast, or adding butter beans to a veggie soup can change a meal from high carb to a balanced plate, with very little effort.
Its also important to snack regularly and not yourself get too hungry.
The hungrier we are, the stronger the sugar monster grows and the harder it is to win the battle.
In my weight loss clinic, I find myself advising people to eat more rather than less, to keep their energy up, their blood sugar balanced and help them make positive food choices rather than giving in to the emergency snickers theyd normally rely on.
If going cold turkey at Christmas sounds too difficult but you dont want to enter January with extra inches around your middle and a habit of scoffing Quality Street after dinner, there is extra help.

You dont have to be a runner to torch calories and reap the weight loss benefits of cardio. In fact, you can burn just as many calories walking as you can runningif you speed walk, says Michele Stanten, an ACE-certified personal trainer, walking coach and author of Walk Your Way to Better Health.
All a walker has to do to burn more calories than a runner is to outpace the runner, she explains. For example, if you walk 4.5 mph (a 13- to 15-minute per mile pace) for about 42 minutes, you can burn as many calories as a runner who does a 10-minute mile. Push it to 5 mph (a 12-minute per mile pace) for 35 minutes, and you can match the runners calorie burn in a shorter amount of time.

In addition to burning more calories, youll also boost your overall health. A faster walking pace can reduce your risk of potentially deadly health problems, especially heart and respiratory diseases, according to a 2019 study from the University of Glasgow in the United Kingdom.
While walking at a speed of 4.5 to 5 mph may seem intense, its possible to sustain if you build your endurance and gradually increase your time, says Stanten, who offers her tips below.
Ready to pick up the pace? Here are Stantens top strategies for improving your average walking speed and boosting your metabolisms calorie-burning powers.
When you elongate your spine, you gain more distance in between your hips and rib cage, which allows your legs to swing more freely than when you slump into your pelvis.
Keep your line of vision 10 to 20 feet ahead instead of looking down at your feet. Roll your shoulders back and down to help open up your chest and un-hunch your back so you can take deeper breaths.
Bend your arms at 90 degrees as you swing them forward and back. Avoid swinging them across your body or winging them out to your sides. This can mess with your stride and make you lose energyfast. Pumping your arms will help you engage your upper body and core to help you move more efficiently and walk faster.
When your front leg reaches out too far, it acts like a brake and slows you down. With shorter, quick steps, your foot lands almost underneath you so you roll right over it.
To figure out your gait, follow this exercise from Stanten: Raise one knee to hip height so your foot is hanging just below your knee, like youre marching. Then, extend your leg in front of you and bring your heel down to the ground. It should be just a few inches in front of your other foot.
Alternating between short but fast bursts of walking with slower-paced intervals not only helps increase your walking speedit can also help you burn more calories, even after youre done exercising.
The longer or harder you work out, the more time it will take your body to return to normal, Stanten says. As you recover, youll continue to burn calories at an accelerated rate for as little as 20 minutes or possibly up to 24 hours. For a serious post-workout calorie burn, try this interval walk:
Count the number of steps you take during your fast intervals, and try to beat that number on subsequent intervals. If youre walking with a friend, ask them to keep track of their numbers and compare them at the end of the workout. This will motivate you to increase your speed and improve your endurance.

ABC's Great American Baking Show: Holiday Edition is back again, bringing a whole new cast of bakers competing for the opportunity to showcase their best work to an audience of millions. There's no real prize for them to win, just the opportunity at some great publicity while making some of everyone's favorite holiday pastries.
Ahead of this year's season, judge Sherry Yard revealed some of the prep work she does before the show starts filming and revealed the weight loss trick she does before every season.
In an interview with the blog Jamonkey, Sherry revealed that every year she makes it a point to lose a little weight before filming starts so that she doesn't have to worry about tasting the contestants' creations.
"I lose about 10 pounds first because Im gonna gain about 15 pounds," Sherry said. "Thats the first preparation. We should have a game of how much weight I gain because I really enjoy what I do, and I love pastries."
Sherry admits that she makes sure to try every dish that a contestant makes for consistency, not only because she considers it part of her job, but just because she loves food.
"I love food... If they had to make two items I actually was eating both," she said. "I havent seen the show in full myself. Im hoping they dont make me look as much as what I was doing, because youre gonna see by the last showtheres more to love. Its a professional job. Someone has to do it!
While most of us probably recognize Sherry best from Great American Baking Show, Sherry's got a slew of other judging credits under her belt. She's also judged Cake Wars Christmas and Christmas Cookie Challenge on Food Network, as well as appearing as a guest judge on more intense cooking competitions like Iron Chef America and Cutthroat Kitchen.
According to Mashed, each episode takes two days to film (one day to shoot and one day to prep for the next competition), so a whole season takes about a month of an intense film schedule to complete. This means that the holiday specials are filmed months in advance, nowhere close to the holiday season, to allow time for editing and promoting the season.
In her interview with Jamonkey, Sherry revealed that they film the holiday seasons, specifically, in August sometimes making it harder for everyone to get into the holiday spirit with the heat.
[The tent] is just like hallowed ground for me in August. In London, Sherry said. There were times at night when we were shooting, it was very cold. So, the finale we all really wrapped up. It felt more like Christmas.

How Long Should You Walk Daily To Lose Weight? – International Business Times

Walking is one of the easiest exercises that anyone can practice on a daily basis. Several health experts recommend brisk walking as an effective calorie-burning exercise for weight loss. But how much should you walk on a daily basis to achieve your weight loss goals?
Walk Briskly For 30-90 Minutes Daily
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services recommends 30-90 minutes of fast-paced physical activity on most days of the week to achieve weight loss goals. In Total, walking 150 minutes per week should be your plan. You can choose to walk less on some days and more on the other days. And you are likely to gain additional health benefits upon performing more than 300 minutes of moderate-intensity exercises on a weekly basis. Also, in addition to moderate-intensityworkout like brisk walking, muscle strengthening exercises a couple of times every week is also recommended.
Apart from brisk walking, you could try other sorts of aerobic activities including bicycling, swimming, dancing, or playing basketball. These activities help you move your large muscles in a rhythmic manner for a sustained period of time. These are also called endurance activities which make your heart beat more rapidly and make your breathing rateincrease in order to meet the demands of your bodys movement. Over time, regularly performing such aerobic exercises make your cardiorespiratory system stronger and healthier.
See to that you walk fast enough and try to be in the moderate-intensity exercise zone at 60-70% of your maximum heart rate, says VerywellFit. Your breathing is heavier than usual, can speak in complete sentences but you cannot sing- such should be the speed at which you should be walking. You can use a fitness band or an activity tracking app to make sure you are walking at a moderate intensity.
You could also split your walking time into short walks of 10 minutes or longer. It doesnt matter how long each physical activity episode is, but what matters more is the total amount of moderate-to-vigorous activity.
The benefits of brisk walking for about 150-300 minutes weekly include lowered heart disease risk and type 2 diabetes risk.
Consistency is key
If you are new to walking, start with shorter walks and slowly and steadily build up your walking regimen. Try not to skip more than a day consecutively. Take a day off when you do not feel like it, but make sure to resume walking at the earliest. And after hitting your weight loss goals, it is essential to continue your walking regimen to maintain your weight.

Rebel Wilson Says Extreme Conditions Filming ‘Cats’ Led To Weight Loss – Women’s Health

Rebel Wilson says she unintentionally lost weight while filming Cats due to the intensive nature of the dance scenes in the film.
(FYI: Even though Cats is a musical, some say it's more of a dance film than anything else. After all, Victoria the white cat, is being played by Francesca Hayward, the principal dancer of the Royal Ballet.)
Because there were so many elite dancers in the ensemble, the creative team heated the set to sauna-like conditions every day, so no one would pull a muscle. I lost eight pounds, shooting my number, in four days, star Rebel Wilson told Entertainment Tonight. One, because theres a lot of physicalities but also, they heated up the set very high, to almost 100 [degrees] Fahrenheit, so that we could never cool down.

In the film, Wilson plays Jennyanydots, and she worked with choreographer Andy Blankenbuehler, who has won three Tony Awards, for Hamilton, In the Heights, and Bandstand.
These people are, like, the best dancers in the whole world, so they cant cool their muscles down or they could get an injury and theyd be out of the film, Wilson said. So theyd heat up the set like a sauna so we would never cool down, but [it] made it pretty uncomfortable.
As if the pressure weren't high enough, Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber himself would make surprise visits to set. "He would pop up on set and he'd just be hiding in the shadows, and all of a sudden you'd be singing and like, 'Oh, it's Andrew Lloyd Webber, geez better be in key!'" Wilson joked. "The artistry that's gone into this film, and to know that it's all live singing and dancing. Spectacular is the right word to describe the film. It's epic."
