Ex-US president Bush moved to intensive care
http://www.euronews.com Former US President George Bush senior has been moved to a Houston hospital #39;s intensive care unit after a "series of setbacks". He was hospitalised on November 23 with bronchitis. Doctors had hoped Bush, who served one term in the White House from 1989, would be home for Christmas. But he was put on a liquid only diet after developing a fever, which family spokesman Jim McGrath says has deteriorated. "He #39;s in critical condition. He #39;s in a bad way, but the doctors believe there is a path for him to recover from this and if we can get him to rally a little bit, we can start talking about a discharge date but we #39;re not there yet." Bush, who #39;s 88, was previously Ronald Reagan #39;s vice-president. He #39;s been visited by his wife Barbara and son, George W Bush, who is also a former US president.
