City Manager Update to Council: City Manager Dave Sykes presented an update to the City Council during Item 3.1 yesterday, Feb. 2, regarding the Citys response to COVID-19. Dave and officials from the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) provided information on the status of vaccine distribution, housing vulnerable residents, future federal COVID-19 response funding, and the Citys response to last weeks storm. A high rate of testing helps identify and stop the spread of COVID-19 cases, and is one of the factors that is helping our county reopen under State regulations. The County offers support options for people who test positive or have been in contact with someone who is COVID-19 positive. If you need help with food, bills, or a place to stay while you isolate or quarantine, please call 408-808-7770 to learn about support services from the County of Santa Clara.
