Starting your day with a glass of green vegetable smoothie is one of the best things for your body.

A salad with a light dressing of vinaigrette, lemon juice or apple cider vinegar is another great way to eat your greens. It is easier to gulp something than chew and enjoy its taste. And so, another way to incorporate greens is to make gravies or sauces from them. Think pesto sauce, chutneys, adding them to lentils and Indian gravies. The addition of spices and other ingredients like meat and vegetables will mask its taste so it will be easier to eat them.

A hot soup on a winter day is extremely soothing and healthy. Make soups of green veggies like spinach, kale, etc and have a bowl of it once every few days.
