And after finally being able to leave the jungle, the former presenter on The Living Room, has revealed hes lost even more weight, dropping another 10kg during his stint in the sticks.
Speaking to Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O on KIIS FM on Monday morning, the cook mentioned that his wife didnt recognise him and even asked where the rest of her husband was when they reunited at the end of the show.
We were starving, we were so hungry. I lost 10kg in there, he told the radio program.
Miguel took out the Season 6 Grand Finale winning $100,000 for his chosen charity, R U OK? He beat out Dale Thomas, who was was voted as Australias runner-up, and Rhonda Burchmore took third place.
He completed in an impressive nine trials during his stint onIm A CelebrityGet Me Out Of Here!and had no qualms about jumping out of helicopters or pushing his limits to the extreme.
The cook had already shed over 10kg since mid-2019, after revealing on Instagram he had been working hard to transform himself ahead of his 40th birthday, which was in November.
Thanks to a delicious Mediterranean diet Miguel had dropping from 117kg to 106kg by May 2019.
