Weight loss story: I had reached a prediabetic condition and this is how I lost 22 kilos! – Times of India

Posted: November 15, 2019 at 6:43 pm

A lawyer by profession, Ankits work and lifestyle were taking a toll on his physical and mental health. While he did recognise the warning signs, it was only when he saw that his cholesterol levels were out of control and he had reached a pre-diabetic condition that he decided to lose weight. Here is his inspirational quest to lose weight and get back in shape. Read on.Name: Ankit Tripathi

Occupation: Lawyer

Age: 31 yearsHeight: 6 feet 9 inches

Highest weight recorded: 92 kgs

Weight lost: 22 kgsDuration it took me to lose weight: 11 months

The turning point: I travel a lot for work. Sometimes for even 20 days a month without any fixed time to exercise, eat and sleep. This routine took a toll on my physical as well as mental well being. I used to feel exhausted after climbing ten stairs only. I was eating anything I could get my hands on without thinking about the consequences.

My energy levels were on an all-time low and my favourite pair of jeans no longer fit me.

However, one day I went for a routine check-up to find out that my cholesterol levels have skyrocketed and I was in a pre-diabetic condition. This report was the wake-up call for me. I finally decided to be stronger than my excuse and change the way I lived.

My breakfast: I start my day with two glasses of water. In breakfast, I have a combination of complex carbs like upma, vermicelli, raw vegetables, and protein which is mostly 4 egg whites and 1 whole egg. I recommend having atleast one whole egg as it is rich in calcium and essential minerals.Morning Snack: 8 Almonds and 2 anjeer

My lunch: 150 grams of boiled rajma chat, boiled soybean chat or boiled chickpeas chat along with 150 grams of curd without sugar.

Evening Snack: Any seasonal fruit and with one cup of green tea or black coffee.

My dinner: I prefer good sources of lean protein like boiled chicken breast and steamed fish. I also try to include at least one teaspoon of ghee, along with carbs like raw vegetables. I like to eat small portions rather than eating big meals.

I indulge in: I love to have cheat meals on Sunday as it helps you to stay motivated and kills your cravings.Pre-workout meal: One banana and pre-workout drink half an hour before a workout.Post-workout meal: Protein shake

My workout: Initially, for two months (6 days a week), I did a lot of cardio combined with High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT). I gained my stamina by doing cardio and HIIT. I also lost a considerable amount of fat.

After two months, I increased my duration of weight training. As my goal was to decrease my fat level and increase my muscle mass, I focused more on compound exercises like squats, military press, dead-lifts, chin-ups etc.Low-calorie recipes I swear by: Boiled chicken breast or steamed fish like salmon.

Fitness secrets I unveiled: It is important to understand that there is no shortcut to weight loss. Secondly, in addition to focusing on your workout, you need to monitor what you are eating as well. Exercising tirelessly will not give the desired results if you do not watch your dietary habits.

During my transformation, I learned that not all fat is bad. Infact, a good source of fat helps to breakdown and mobilize the bad fat stored in the body.

How do I stay motivated? The support of your friends and family is really crucial on your journey to lose weight. When you start saying no to a lot of plans, your social life takes a hit. So, I make it a point to keep revising my fitness goals after weight loss. For example, right now I want to achieve a muscular physique.

How do you ensure you dont lose focus? One of the biggest reasons which helped me stay motivated was seeing tangible results of the efforts I was putting in. I am extremely proud of the person I am becoming with every passing day. There is a plethora of information available on the internet about how to keep our bodies fit.Whats the most difficult part of being overweight? The most difficult part is batting low confidence and low self-esteem. Moreover, suffering from several health issues was getting really exhausting. What shape do you see yourself 10 years down the line? After ten years, I want to remain fit and have a muscular physique. I would also like to keep learning about body science and its composition.

Weight loss: I was so fat I had to quit my job after years of gorging on takeaways – The Sun

Posted: November 15, 2019 at 6:43 pm

TIPPING the scales at a staggering 17 stone, Louise Nicola Hickson was no longer able to work.

Her weight had spiralled so out of control that her energy levels had plummeted to an all-time low and she could barely walk without being in pain.

19

Determined not to end up like her father who has type 2 diabetes, Louise, 28, decided to take drastic action to shed the pounds.

She overhauled her diet after after having vertical sleeve gastrectomy surgery and has since shed an impressive eight stone.

Louise, from Luton, is now more confident than ever and no longer suffers from depression.

She said: "Ive been like 90 per cent happier than I ever was before."

19

19

Louise had piled on the pounds after years of gorging on Chinese and chicken takeaways.

She suffered with PCOS, depression and anxiety and used food to comfort her - munching on bacon sandwiches with crisps for lunch and carb heavy super-sized portions for dinner.

And the weight began taking a huge toll on her life - and she could barely keep up with her family when they went out shopping.

Louise was alsoregularly getting sick with infections which she believes was due to the extra pounds she carried with her.

19

19

She said: "Im a bubbly type of person and always try to make people laugh. Actually, I used to use my humour to disguise my weight sometimes.

"Things that lead to my weight gain are a mix of PCOS, depression, anxiety and binge drinking.

"I honestly tried not to think about it too much and I was always in denial about my appearance.

"In time things I couldnt ignore started mounting up.

"I felt rubbish all the time, my periods were erratic and painful.

"I stayed in for days not doing anything until the weekend then Id binge drink and eat my weight in calories.

"I could barely walk five minutes before my legs and feet were on fire and I couldnt keep up with my family."

19

19

19

Louise was reminded of her weight occasionally by her father Richard, who warned her that she didnt want to end up with diabetes like him.

And while he urged her to shift the weight, it continue to pile on - to the point she was forced to quit her job.

Louise said: My dad used to say that he hoped I never got to where he was because he has diabetes.

"It got to the point I left my job as I didnt have energy to do it and then my depression got worse."

It got to the point I left my job as I didnt have energy to do it and then my depression got worse

Louise's wake-up call came when she stepped on the scales and was mortified when she saw she weighed a hefty 17st and was also wearing a UK dress size 22.

"I felt embarrassed and a little shocked when I got onto the scales on December 2016 and with my mental health suffering, I knew now was the time for me to make some serious changes about my health," she said.

In February 2018 Louise decided to have vertical sleeve gastrectomy surgery (VSG) and afterwards she knew she had to change her relationship with food and alcohol.

19

19

She said: "I decided to have VSG surgery on November 2017 and had the operation February 2018. "After that I had to learn to have a much healthier relationship with food.

"Now breakfast is usually a healthy fry up in my air fryer.

"Lunch can be either a chicken or salmon salad or a protein shake.

"Dinners are low carb alternatives of everyday meals like curry, Bolognese, roasts.

"I try to snack on low calorie alternatives and fruit where I can but never restrict myself from enjoying some chocolate too. As long as its balanced.

"With consistency I have managed to lose eight stone in about a year and half and I no longer wear a 22 dress but a size 8."

19

19

Louise's diet before and after

BEFORE

Breakfast: No breakfast

Lunch: Bacon sandwiches with crisps

Dinner: Chinese or chicken takeaways with high calorie cider

AFTER

Breakfast: Bacon, eggs, vegetables and high protein toast

Lunch: Salmon or chicken salad

Dinner: High protein low carb curries, bolognese and roasts

Snacks: Low calorie fruit or a little chocolate from time to time

Since her weight loss, Louise is more confident than ever and says that her journey has enabled her to make lots of new friends.

And she has recently got a new job in a warehouse.

"Some people tell you not to lose any more weight on this journey, which can be super annoying especially when I wasnt planning to lose anymore," Louise said.

"Ive made so many new friends and have so much support.

19

19

19

"Ive even managed to repair some old broken friendships because Im in a much better place now.

"Im on my feet a lot now especially with housework and carrying food shopping home.

"Also, my new job means Im stood up all day and often running around the warehouse which I actually like.

"In my spare time Im enjoying spending time at the gym doing cardio and strength training.

"Its actually become a hobby of mine and its been so good for my mental health too."

"Whether its general diet and exercise or weight loss surgery there are other people out there to share their tips, experiences and struggles and it helped me so much."

Aaron Carter Hospitalized Over His Drastic Weight Loss – Al Bawaba

Posted: November 15, 2019 at 6:43 pm

Aaron Carter has been hospitalized over his drastic weight loss.

The 'I Want Candy' hitmaker's mother Jane was shocked by his appearance when he arrived at her home in Florida on Thursday (11.14.19) and she immediately rushed him to hospital because she was alarmed about his dangerously low weight.

Jane told TMZ that Aaron weighed nearly 160lbs at one point but has now plummeted to a mere 115lbs as a result of the stress he's been under following the restraining orders against him brought on by his brother Nick and twin sister Angel.

The 31-year-old singer has had his blood pressure checked and is currently hooked up to a heart monitor so that doctors can check everything is normal and healthy.

Aaron's health has been the hot topic of conversation recently as a few months ago he revealed he's been diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

He said at the time: "The official diagnosis is that I suffer from multiple personality disorder, schizophrenia, acute anxiety, [and] I'm manic depressant."

Shortly after the revelation, Aaron's brother Nick took out a restraining order against him after he allegedly threatened to kill his then-pregnant wife Lauren Kitt - who gave birth to a baby girl at the beginning of October - in September.

A few hours later, Aaron's twin sister Angel also filed documents for a domestic violence restraining order against her brother.

Aaron later took to his social networking sites to apologise for "lashing out" and for the "hurtful things" he said about his siblings.

He wrote: "I've been very hurt by the fact that my big brother has not made an effort to be part of my life for a long time so therefore I lashed out & said some hurtful things I did not mean to say I love my brother I love my family and all I want is peace and love for everybody. (sic)"

Day care worker fired over note telling mother to put son on diet and go away – WQAD.com

KINGWOOD, TEXAS (WGHP) A Texas mother is outraged after she found a note in her child's lunchbox that said she should put her son on a diet, KTRK reports.

The worker has reportedly been fired.

"The thing that upset me the most is that this is bullying," said Francesca, the child's mother.

Francesca says her 5-year-old son had been going to Rocking Horse Day Care in Kingwood for three years and she never had any problems.

"I do everything in my power to build my son up and make him feel good about himself because he is amazing," Francesca said.

She had recently made diet changes for her son's lunch and wrote a note to be supportive, asking the workers on Tuesday "Please tell my son that his mommy loves him so much and that I'm thinking about him."

That same note came back in the lunchbox that night and had this written at the bottom:

"No! put him on a diet and go away."

"To know a grown-up who knows how hard life is and how mean people can be can say something like that, especially about a child...there's something wrong," Francesca said.

She alerted the day care which then investigated and told her the employee never intended for her to see what was written.

A director at the center tells says the employee admitted to writing the message and was fired.

He also said they're very sorry this happened.

Francesca has had to take her son with her to work the past two days while she tries to find a new day care.

"I put a lot of trust into this school to take care of him and it just really hurt me," Francesca said.

Star fitness specialist gives his top tips on burning belly fat without going to the gym – Express

Posted: November 15, 2019 at 6:41 pm

Fitness for many is a difficult journey especially when trying to focus on one particular area - such as belly fat- and getting little result.

Exercise and diet both play a crucial role in ensuring you get the results you want.

For so many of us, there are two major factors that prevent us from getting a workout in: time and space,Grincerisaid.

Scheduling time to work out is one thing that takes a lot of organisation and dedication, but finding the physical space to work out should be a no-brainer.

For most, finding the time to go to the gym, especially once winter is in full swing, can be extremely difficult.

Withblastsof cold weather, motivationcandrop and gym membershipsgoto waste, butGrinceriexplained you can do a simple belly fat burning exercise from the comfort of ones home.

DON'T MISS

He said: Working outdoesnt require a huge studio, a spacious backyard, or even the need to move your furniture around, he said.

According to Grinceri, there are four essential moves that use gliders and light ankle weights that each target the core and can be doneina teeny tiny apartment.

These are the top four moves recommended bythefitness specialist.

1. Torso Twist

Angelo Grinceri said: With light ankle weights on, tap right toe in front and put hands behind your head.

Pull belly button in towards the spine as you lift leg up to a soccer kick and rotate torso before bringing to starting position.

Lean body back after restarting each repetition. Repeat 8times on both sides.

2. Rotation Lift

Take one arm straight out at a diagonal and opposite leg out to the side. Lift knee as you squeeze abs, bringing arm to knee and twisting.

Lift and reach back to starting position. Repeateighttimes on both sides, he explained.

3. V-Up

Angelo recommended a V-up as one of the moves a slimmer should do to ensure natural belly fat burning to occur.

He said: Starting on your butt with legs out in a V-position. Lean back and lift knees up slowly as you squeeze core tight before bringing legs back down. Repeateighttimes.

4. Plank Hover

Start in a plank position with both feet on one glider, keeping abs tight and elbows in line with shoulders.

Shift chest forward, bringing it in front of elbows before returning to starting position. Repeateighttimes.

Angelo trained at theGreys Institute of Physiotherapy alongside doctors; armed with the knowledge of how each tiny muscle connects to the bone and how each joint moves. He trained here with his childhood friendStephen Pasterino and founder of the method.

Hisapproach to health and wellness is all about longevity and preparation. He believes we should participate in exercise that prepares the body for all of lifes daily requirements, mainly ones that improve how well we get from place to place (such as walking!)Angelo uses his background in human performance and pilates to stimulate and tone every muscle in the body while challenging balance and coordination.

Angelo regularly treats fans to workout videos and fitness images on his personal Instagram.

As a teenager, he became obsessed with bodybuilding. He lifted heavy weights with basic movement patterns, never stretched, and subsequently felt terrible, with back pain. So he then reviewed his fitness lifestyle and started to replace every piece of it with a more holistic option.

Fatima Bhutto on the Surge of Bollywood, K-Pop and Turkish TV – The New York Times

Posted: November 15, 2019 at 6:41 pm

When did the pivot away from Hollywood begin to occur? Why was there a backlash?

There isnt one moment we can point to, rather its a perfect storm of factors including plummeting American prestige, the belated rediscovery that local cultures are valuable in and of themselves, and the rise of classes with different tastes and backgrounds emerging out of the turbulence of globalization, migration and urbanization.

Describe the effect of those trends.

In 2015, over one billion people left their homes in search of a better life. Only a small percentage, 244 million, migrated abroad. The majority, some 763 million, moved from rural to urban areas within their own countries. Between 1.5 million and 3 million people move to cities every week. The psychological disorientation caused by these shifts is profound.

People leaving their families and villages are unmoored in the big, soulless city. It is a geography without anchors, full of sexual and material deprivations, injustices and inequalities. Add to that the betrayal of globalizations promise: that the world would be lifted on a tide of wealth, opportunity and access.

But hundreds of millions of people who uprooted their life in order to become captains of this new world have found no wealth, no opportunity and no access. Rather, the opposite.

How does Hollywood speak to the worlds unmoored and displaced? What does Hustlers say to a woman who has left her familys village in El Salvador to move to the turbulent, violent city? What does Avengers: Endgame say to Afghan refugees, fighting to survive, in this new world? Nothing. It doesnt speak to them at all.

What makes an Indian film, a Turkish television drama or a Korean pop song have more universal appeal than a piece of American work?

They look modern and appealing in the same way that American film, TV or music looks. But uniquely, these are all cultural products set firmly in the realm of values. They are not concerned with which billionaire son inherits his fathers empire, but rather focus on ordinary people struggling to live lives of dignity with the force of the world against them.

‘After I Could Only Fit Into Extended-Size Wedding Gowns, I Started Keto And Lost Over 100 Lbs. In 16 Months’ – msnNOW

Posted: November 15, 2019 at 6:41 pm

Ali Bruch After she only fit into plus-size gowns while wedding dress shopping, Ali Bruch started the keto diet and IF on a whim and lost over 100 pounds in the process.I'm Ali Bruch (@alicutsmyhair), and I'm 27. I live in Milwaukee, where I'm a hair stylist and makeup artist. After another woman's Instagram post about her weight loss on keto inspired me, I tried the keto diet myself and have had tons of success.

I was overweight my whole life. Well, I was morbidly obese, if Im being honest. I was 270 pounds at my heaviest. I could no longer run around with my daughter. Standing all day at work physically hurt me and my ankles would swell.

I hid whenever someone took pictures, in fear that they would get posted online and people would know how big I really was. I was also a binge eater. When I started eating food, I couldnt stop. Sometimes I ate 6,000 to 8,000 calories a day. Looking back, it makes me sad to think how I used to treat my body.

As I walked through the beautiful dresses, the woman helping me made it very clear to me that so-called normal-size dresses would not fit me, and I would only fit into plus-size options. I went home and felt defeated.

A few weeks later (on October 30, 2016) I saw a womans Instagram post about her weight-loss journey with the keto diet, and for some reason it lit a fire inside of me. I was ready. I started the diet that day. Its funny that I remember the exact date because it was the day before Halloween, and I remember wondering whether or not I was crazy for cutting out sugar the day before a candy-filled holiday, but I figured it would be the true test.

I cut out sugar and carbohydrates and stuck to 20 to 30 grams of carbs a day. I lost a good amount of weight, and then I got pregnant. I had a non-keto pregnancy because I craved a lot of carbs and needed to fuel my body for both me and my baby, but I started back on keto in July 2018 after my son was born.

I had tried calorie counting in the past and WW (formerly known as Weight Watchers). Both are great ways to lose weight, but they gave me too much flexibility and I would end up falling off the wagon. Keto has been the most incredible thing for me. I also do intermittent fasting; I fast from 6 p.m. to 12 p.m. the following day, and I break my fast with lunch.

Weight-loss is hard. You wont see a change without being consistent. Small goals are better than big goals. It feels a heck of a lot better reaching small goals often than feeling like you have one giant overall goal that's out of reach.

I set 2- to 3- pound goals with my large goal in mind. This gives me something obtainable to reach and it feels really good when I do. Then I set a new small goal. And if that 2 pounds takes a week or a month, thats totally okay.

I also remind myself on hard days to just get through today"I take one day at a time. Then I do the same tomorrow. This keeps me focused knowing that if I have one bad day, my progress is not shot. I will get back to it tomorrow. Bad days happen, its life, dont give up.

The people around you can make or break you. I am so lucky to have an incredibly supportive husband and friends. My husband cooks keto dinners for me, and my friends have keto-friendly foods for me when we have get-togethers. It feels really great to not only be supported by the people around me, but also encouraged by them.

Losing 105 pounds has changed my life in so many ways. The way people treat you is different. The confidence you have is different. The way you can move your body is different. Buying clothes is different. Its all different, in the best way. I can keep up with my children, and I couldnt do that before.

Its really mind-boggling to think that I used to carry around an extra 105 pounds. I can finally live a life that doesnt revolve around food. I am not hiding anymore. The confidence you gain when you lose weight is worth every single frustration youve had along the way, I promise.

British mum reveals weightloss secret that saw her lose 38kg – 7NEWS

Posted: November 15, 2019 at 6:41 pm

A size 24 mum transformed her body after a waitress mistakenly thought she was pregnant.

Jo Collins' waistline expanded as she climbed the corporate ladder and by the time she married her businessman husband, Mark, 48, in 2008, she was wearing a size 22 bridal gown.

Her turning point came during a 2014 Netherlands holiday with Mark and their sons Luke, now 12, and Finlay, now eight when she broke down beside the swimming pool, feeling too self-conscious to join in.

Now, Jo, 49, has shed almost 38kg to become 73kg, size 12, and has ditched hotels to become a weight loss consultant, helping hundreds of people to slim.

When I was bigger, it was like I had two parts of me. At work, I could hold my head up high and be this professional businesswoman but behind closed doors, I was shying away, hiding under baggy clothes and feeling self-conscious," the British mum said.

My turning point didnt come until I was on holiday five years ago. I was that big I was struggling to keep up with everyone else, even cycling on the flat roads.

I remember lying, pretending I didnt feel well so I wouldnt have to join everyone swimming. The thought of putting on a swimsuit and walking out there amongst other normal, healthy mums was mortifying.

I sat by the side of the pool and started crying. I thought to myself, Youre missing out on life you have to change.

Because of her job as a hotel general manager, most days Jo would kick the day off with a bowl of sugary cereal and a round of toast, followed by a pastry or plate of leftovers from the breakfast buffet.

As I was earning more, too, I would go out to restaurants a lot, rationalising it by saying I had worked long hours and deserved a treat, she said.

Lunch would be either pizza or curry from the hotel kitchen, or a takeaway if any of her colleagues were doing a McDonalds run.

Then, arriving home late, she would reward herself with a huge bowl of pasta, smothered with cheese, plus garlic bread and a glass of wine.

Id be having dinner at about 9pm, so I was eating all that food, then not doing anything to burn it off, she said.

Pastries were a problem, too. Whenever we were holding meetings, thered be all these plates of Danishes or croissants put out. But I now know that, though it seems like a treat, its not the right fuel for your body.

'I was huffing and puffing in the heat all day'

In time, Jo met Mark through online dating, and the pair welcomed their first child, Luke, into the world in 2007.

But, by the time they got married the following year on a beach in Perth, Jo was a size 22.

She explained: Id had all these images of getting married on a beach in a long, flowing dress but my dress was a size 22, and I was huffing and puffing in the heat all day.

More on 7NEWS.com.au

In 2011, she reached her heaviest weight of 110kg. She was obese.

Being so overweight had a crushing effect on her confidence, with Jo recalling: Mark and I went out for my birthday once I cant actually remember which birthday it was now but I had done my hair and make-up and put on this purple maxi dress.

I thought I looked nice, but when we got to the restaurant, the waitress mistook me for being pregnant, saying something about how our seats were near the toilets, so I wouldnt have far to go with the baby.

I fell silent and Mark took my hand. He could see I had tears in my eyes and said, Do you want to go? We can leave quietly and dont have to cause a fuss, but we dont have to stay here itll be okay.

I did, so I went out to start the car while he politely explained why we were going. On the way home, I sobbed and sobbed. You dont forget comments like that.

Then, in 2014, Jo finally knew she had to change when, having already struggled to keep up with the physical activities during a break at Center Parcs Europe, she was actually too self-conscious to swim.

Arriving back in the UK that April, she vowed to overhaul her life, agreeing to help a friend who had recently become a consultant for the 1:1 Diet by Cambridge Weight Plan with the social media side of her new venture.

Since then, Jos diet has been totally transformed, and she now starts the day with breakfast of porridge and berries, overnight oats or eggs.

Then, both lunch and dinner will be fresh soups and salads or grilled meat and vegetables with jacket potato.

She also hits the gym two to three times a week and, best of all, has the energy to run around with her boys again.

I go running with them, swimming, play netball all things I wouldnt have dreamed of five years ago, she said.

In fact, Jo was so thrilled by her own success that she decided to become a consultant herself in 2017.

Its amazing to see how much peoples lives can change. For some, it may just be about losing a few pounds, but often, its much more than that.

To anybody out there wanting to transform their own lives and bodies, Id say have a chat with a consultant to find a plan that works for you, as there is no point starting something you know you wont stick to.

Then, its all about getting into that mindset that food is fuel, and that you have to put the right fuel into your body.

For me, not only do I look different, but I feel different too. Im so much more confident, and now I want to help others feel that way too.

Humans by-and-large have an aesthetic need they want to look their best. For Kashif Qayyum, it was a niggling necessity; when he would look in the mirror, hed flinch and quickly look away. When I used to look in the mirror I usually used to hate myself, he says in an interview with Gulf News. This was a result of overindulgence since coming to the UAE it had only been 3 years but the pace of life accompanied by the lack of cooking skills meant he was quickly gaining chubbier cheeks than he was comfortable with.

The 5-foot-11-inch Pakistani expat decided when he reached 90kg in January 2019 that he would change things.

My initial goal was to look slim and lose my initial weight, he says. But there was little research involved in all this instead, he decided, he would cut down on his food drastically. Its a move that he says over and over, he would not suggest to anyone.

Initial meal plan

Breakfast: 500ml skim milk and a handful of almondsMid-morning: Green tea, no sugar, just lemonLunch: roti with chicken/fish/vegetable gravy in officeEvening: Green tea with lemonDinner at 6pm: roti with chicken/fish/vegetable gravy in office

In three months, Qayyum was down about 18kg. My only focus was to lose my weight in a couple of days I lost 2kg; in 15days I lost 4 kg like that and people were telling me oh you look slim and that was motivating me and keeping me uptight, he recalls. He didn't explain any tough days, batting each question away with the word focus.

Soon, he was a lean 70kg. And this was a problem, mostly because it meant people coming up to him and asking if he was ill. His skin had lost its glow it had turned a malnourished-dry grey. His fair began to thin in previously unseen ways. Worried, he sought the help of Dr Internet. It has to be fat loss rather than weight loss; this difference I understood after a few months, he now explains. He slowly began to build his muscle and after three months of no cheat meals, he nipped at some favourites once a week. His diet also went an overhaul.

On the menu today

Pre-workout drink before gymCome back from gym, eat protein shakeAfter 1 hour: Banana1 hour later: coffee with milk no sugar. 10.30: 5 eggs: 1 whole and 4 whites, all boiled 1pm: either chicken grilled 1 piece/1 chicken paratha3pm: Coffee 7pm: 500ml of whole milk with scoop of protein.

His workout routine has also expanded. I continuously go for 4 days [to the gym] then take a break for one day, he explains. He spends 1.5 hours a day at most in the gym.

The exercise plan now goes like this:

Day 2: Arms, biceps and triceps

Day 3: Tri-ups and shoulders

Alternate day cardio (15 mins) speed on 6, incline on 6 - and abs

Today, while he isnt looking to buff up any more, he is happy that his fat percentage is down to 10.

A year on, everything is different. He's met his need for aesthetic change.
