Rob Kardashian has been laying low these days after his relationship with Blac Chyna fell apart then turned physical. But this isn't the first time he's attempted to stay out of the public eye despite the fact that his family has become world famous. After his breakup with Cheetah Girls star Adrienne Bailon back in 2010, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star gained quite a bit of weight, then lost it, then gained it back again. But now, it seems as though he's trying to get back on track as he showed off his weight loss with sister Kim Kardashian.

In a video Kim shared to her Instagram stories from her birthday celebration Monday night, Kardashian was caught a few times looking much slimmer than he has in recent years. According to TMZ, the former Dancing with the Stars contestant is around 20 pounds lighter thanks to cutting out alcohol, reducing his fast food intake and choosing to workout. Sources also told the outlet that Kardashian is in a really good place mentally and is fully devoted to raising his daughter Dream.

The family celebrated Kim's 39th birthday by having a low-key family dinner catered by Carousel Restaurant popular for their Middle Eastern cuisine. The KKW founder was showered with gifts from her family, but something she said made her heart so happy was the fact that her husband Kanye West donated $1 million in their name to her favorite charities.

Kardashian recently took to Instagram to share a video of his other sister Kylie Jenner mouthing "rise and shine" after her new catchphrase went viral. His account hardly features behind the scene videos or photos of his family, rather promo teases or clips from the popular reality series, so fans were shocked to see him post the video of Jenner.

The billionaire went viral after singing the three words in a soulful sound during a recent video she pushed out to YouTube. The 22-year-old gave fans a full tour of the Kylie Cosmetics headquarters and towards the end she woke her daughter up from a nap singing "Rise and Shine" and not only did fans notice, but A-listers like Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande did as well.

Since then, she's not only allegedly filed several forms to get the words trademarked, but she's now selling merchandise on her online store that reads the phrase.

We found that the men in the study who exercised before breakfast burned double the amount of fat than the group who exercised after. Importantly, whilst this didnt have any effect on weight loss, it did dramatically improve their overall health, Explained Dr. Javier Gonzalez, who is one of the Department of Bath members that co-authored the new paper.

The study spanned six weeks and was comprised of 30 men medically classified as either obese or overweight. After recruitment, these men were further segmented into three groups. Two were intervention groups, wherein one pool of participants ate breakfast before their workout, and the other ate breakfast after their workout. The men in the control group made zero changes to their lifestyle. As stated previously, the men that engaged in physical activity before their first meal of the day burned considerably more fat than both the control group and the other intervention group.

Even though both intervention groups observed the exact same training sessions and calorie intake, the muscles of the group of men that ate after working out responded much better to insulin production. These men also expressed higher numbers of important proteins that transport glucose throughout the body. Whats more, the intervention group that worked out after breakfast were no healthier than the control that changed absolutely nothing about their diet or workout regimen by the end of the studys trial period.

Helmed by Dr. Rob Edinburgh, the new paper helps us better understand the role of metabolism and overnight fasting. When we dont eat anything in the evening, the following day were enabled to utilize the fat in our tissue for fuel during a workout session. This very specific weighthormone proof of principle is more easily animated with male models, but the researchers are determined to replicate these results with women in the very near future. Dr. Gareth Walls of the University Birmingham adds,This work suggests that performing exercise in the overnight-fasted state can increase the health benefits of exercise for individuals, without changing the intensity, duration or perception of their effort. We now need to explore the longer-term effects of this type of exercise and whether women benefit in the same way as men.

A WOMAN who was addicted to Chinese takeaways and was nicknamed "Gemma Collins" on nights out has shed a whopping eight stone.

Chrystal-Sky Dawson, 23, from Gloucestershire was devastated when strangers would make fun of her in the street, but after swapping greasy fast food for healthy meals, the student has dropped a whopping seven dress sizes.

Chrystal-Sky has managed to shed 7st 10lbs after tipping the scales at 21st last year.

Now, the 23-year-old weighs 13st 4lbs after joining Slimming World.

Every night out, men would jeer at me and say 'look it's Gemma Collins," she explained.

It was mortifying as I knew they were saying I was big. Other times, men called me 'fat' or referred to me as the 'fat friend.'

They hit on my friends, who were sizes 6-12, while laughing at me.

Since I've shed the pounds, I feel sexy and beautiful for the first time in my life! And men now ask for my number.

The student explained she was overweight as a child, with classmates calling her "tubby" in school.

But by the time she was a teen, Chrystal-Sky was a healthy weight and a size 12.

However, when she left home to study Spanish and French at Swansea University, she gained three stone in just a year, clubbing five times a week and drinking high-sugar vodka Red Bulls.

Suddenly I went from enjoying home-cooked meals every night to having the freedom to eat what I wanted," she said.

I went clubbing five times a week, downing 20 vodka Red Bulls each night.

Then I gorged on Chinese, Indian and pizza takeaways afterwards, even eating a whole large pizza to myself.

Before I knew it, I'd gained three stone during my first year.

In September 2017, Chrystal-Sky, who is 5ft 9in tall, moved to Paris to study French and gained a further three stone, weighing in at 21st.

I scoffed on copious amounts of cheese and guzzled red wine. Unsurprisingly, I ballooned to a size 26," she said.

My arms, legs and stomach were huge and I hated myself. I avoided mirrors as I couldnt bear to see my reflection.

When I came home, my friends were shocked at how big I'd gotten."

It was then that Chrystal-Sky was nicknamed "Gemma Collins" on nights out.

It isn't an insult to be called Gemma Collins, because she is obviously beautiful," she added.

But it still hurt my feelings because men were hinting that I was big too. It was devastating.

Chrystal-Sky revealed the weight was starting to affect her confidence, explaining she ended up refusing to leave the house.

One day I went shopping with my mates. I wanted to fit in with my friends and try some clothes on, even though the shop only stocked up to a size 18," she said.

When the top wouldnt fit over my head, I burst into tears and I locked myself in the changing room for two hours, sobbing.

After that, I became a recluse and stopped seeing my mates.

I refused to go out anywhere and stayed at home because I hated my body so much.

By June last year, Chrystal was so fed up with her weight that she begged her mum, Lesley Dawson, 53, to help.

I broke down to Mum, who knew Id been unhappy for years. The next day, she took me to a Slimming World group," she said.

I was determined to make a change.

Now, Chrystal-Sky has ditched takeaways for fresh fish, meats and vegetables.

Within six months, shed lost four stone and was exercising five times a week, revealing she felt happy for "the first time ever".

She says: I had so much energy and felt so happy for the first time ever.

Now, the student weighs 13st 4lbs and loves her size 12 figure.

I went from being a couch potato to running 10k. It's also the best feeling being able to go into a shop and wear anything I want.

All of the laughing, 'fat' and 'Gemma Collins' jibes have stopped.

There is no doubt that dancing is a workout, andLauren Alaina can attest to this.In a new interview, she reveals that she's lost a significant amount of weightsince joining Dancing With the Stars.

"Ive lost, like, 25 pounds since July," Alaina told Us. "None of my clothes fit."

Alaina is no stranger to maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle, as the singer works out six days a week with a trainer; practices boxing; and says she sticks to a strict low-carb diet with plenty of protein and vegetables.

However, it hans't always been easy for the country music star in this arena. Alaina has previouslygrappledwith bulimia, which she documented on her song "Pretty" from her Road Less Traveled album. The singer credits her past struggles and positive mindset for making her stronger, saying, "I'm happier and I'm in a better place, so they don't affect me as much as they used to, and that's a hard place to get to. It took me a while to get there."

On Monday night's (Oct. 21) show, Alaina performed an emotional tribute to her late stepfather, Sam Ramker, who died on Oct. 21, 2018 following his battle with Stage 4 cancer. The singer danced to her song "The Other Side," which she wrote for Ramker.

Alaina's mom was on hand in the studio as the singer remembered her late stepfather, which caused Alaina to become noticeably emotional.

"Theres a moment when I ran to the side in the dance, and somehow my mothers seat was literally where I had to run," said Alaina. "I looked at my mom and thats when I started crying."

The "Doin' Fine" singer wanted to make her stepfather proud with her performance, saying, "My stepdad was the most positive, uplifting, happy person Ive ever met, and if he had been here tonight, he wouldve been the most proud of me."

"I just wanna make him proud, and do this for my mom," she continued. "Her worst nightmare happened on this day last year. So the fact that were even here and we got to do that dance is just a huge blessing. I feel really proud."

The performance notched the singer and her dancing partner Gleb Savchenko a 26 out of 30 possible points.

Dancing With the Stars airs each Monday at 8PM ET on ABC.

A Reddit user has taken to the social media sharing site to reveal her weight loss before and after success.

Posting her pictures to the public forum for the world to see, the dieter revealed for the keto diet was behind her amazing transformation.

She dropped down to 12.5 stone from 23.6 stone in just a year.

Celebrating, the Reddit user wrote: Today marks exactly one year since I officially started this WOE, and I honestly never want to go back!

She revealed how her weight had caused her problems from a young age.

I've been yo-yo dieting since I was about eight years old, which was always going to be a recipe for disaster, the Reddit user explained.

Decided to try keto last year after finally leaving an incredibly toxic relationship, and it's helped me develop healthier eating habits and has just overall been so enjoyable!

The keto diet is a high fat low carb diet, that aims to shift the metabolic state of the body into ketosis.

This is when the body burns fat as its primary source of fuel, instead of carbohydrates.

Started off doing keto + IF, with an eating window between 12pm and 8pm, but quickly switched over to OMAD because I found I was just fuller for longer, the diet explained.

OMAD stands for One Meal a Day, which means fasting for 23 hours and eating one large meal.

IF means intermittent fasting, and is the practice of eating all your calories for the day in a window of generally about eight hours.

My family/friends were skeptical at first, but now the results have convinced some of them to make the switch over to keto themselves.

Ive also developed a love for keto baking and cooking, and I feel like my relationship with food is slowly on the mend.

How can you boost the keto diet plan?

Triggering ketosis can be hard for many, but there is way to trigger it quickly.

Website Healthline stated: Fat fasting is another ketone-boosting approach that mimics the effects of fasting.

This type of fast allows dieters to eat, but the vast majority of their calories should come from fat.

Along with pictures of her before and after losing weight, the dieter said she is 32-years-old and 5ft 6.5in.

She wrote: Most of this has been since June this year. Thanks to IF, OMAD and low carb working my way to my goal.

Intermittent fasting is a diet plan where slimmers will eat all of their daily calories within a certain time window each day and they will fast for the remaining hours.

Some will choose to do this by eating within a four or eight hour window and others will have all their calories in just one sitting, or One Meal A Day (OMAD).

Dieter nicolesid1 explained she would eat all her calories in one meal and would use this plan five days a week.

In her post, she said: I cut out processed foods and do intermittent fasting five days a week.

Mostly I eat meat, veggies and a little bit of a starch for my one meal a day.

She explained her meals are mostly low carb and she will fill up on protein and vegetables.

By following the plan, the dieter dropped from 17st 7lb to 14st 9lb.

After going through a weight loss transformation, some dieters will share their results and give tips to others.

How to make

- Sift Chickpea flour (besan). Add the flour in a pan and lightly roast it on low heat till you get a nice aroma.

- Add 1 teaspoon ghee and saut grated pumpkin separately for a few minutes in a pan to remove the raw smell.

- Now combine flour, sauted pumpkin, milk and jaggery powder in a pan.

- Mix it well to ensure there are no lumps.

- Place the pan over medium heat and stir continuously for few minutes till the mixture starts to thicken.

- Now add the ghee, simmer the heat and stir for few more minutes.

- Now youll see it bubbling and ghee leaving on the sides.

- When it gets thicker, turn off the heat.

- Add cardamom powder and leave it to cool down.

- Transfer the content into the ghee greased plate and leave it for few minutes.

- When it is still warm, sprinkle musk melon seeds and some chopped cashews on top and cut it into square pieces.

Previously, the popular presenter opened up about her size 22 frame and the diet plan which helped her shrink down to a size 10. Sandi revealed she lost the weight by following a low carb diet plan and cutting sugar from her lifestyle.

She was first encouraged to make a change for her health when her partner voiced concerns.

Sandi signed up for the Louise Parker diet plan which encourages those trying to lose weight to make a few key changes in their lives.

Speaking in her Good Housekeeping column, she explained: I was never interested in how I look. The number one thing in my whole life is my children and I want to be there for them.

"At my worst I was a size 22, and at that size you can't go down the high street and buy yourself things that make you feel good. Your shopping options are limited in a way they aren't when you are a size 12.

I had tried every diet out there - I would lose weight for a bit, then put it back on again. Then, by chance, my partner, Debbie, and I saw an advert for Louise Parker in an airline magazine.

On the Louise Parker diet plan, slimmers are urged to cut out complex carbs and ditch sugar altogether.

I'm not quite as thin as I was, but I certainly haven't put it back on again.

The wonderful thing is I now have the tools to deal with it. Mostly now I don't eat carbs - actually I'm not attracted to them any more."

As well as changing her diet, Sandi added more exercise into her routine as the plan suggested.

When I first started I couldnt touch my knees. Now I can run 5K no problem, she added.
