Do you struggle with trying to lose weight? Is your motivation tank on empty? Let #39;s start off by talking about where does motivation start? Boiling it down, your motivation starts with your commitment. If you aren #39;t committed to your goal -- 100% - your motivation will be nonexistent Step 1: Check in with your commitment. Are you fully committed to reaching your goals? Are you sure? It #39;s easy to lose sight of your goals when you #39;re halfway there, that #39;s why step 2, recommitting is so important. Recommitment is the refresher and reminder of why the day to day of what you #39;re doing is important. And so many people don #39;t recommit. Gay Hendricks, the author of one of my favorite books, The Big Leap, says "Commitment get you started and propels you through the early stages of any game, but it #39;s recommitment that ignites your reserves when you feel like you #39;re going to give up." Once you recommit, step 3 is to anchor it. An anchor is a physical reminder of your commitment. It could be a piece of jewelry, picture, a song, scent (burning success). You can easily choose something you already have and spend time associating it with your intentions. One of my anchors is this necklace.
