Foundation of Interaction Design 1 - California College of the Arts UrbanChef MISSION: Our objective is to address the problems of efficiency, organization and freshness, while encouraging healthy diet and social interaction within a household. We took a look at current smart fridges and realized that the major problem with current "Smart" fridge is that most of the content on the screen are cool but deemed useless in terms of kitchen help. It is as if they glued an ipad to the fridge. (Like Tesla did with their middle console) No one wants to tweet or facebook message their friends through their fridge. In fact, most people don #39;t enjoy interacting with the fridge. The information presented on the screen is not relevant to your needs in the kitchen.
